Our Equipment
AmeriProbe uses high-capacity drilling rigs. Our current fleet includes a Geoprobe 7822DT and a Geoprobe 7720DT. They are equipped with GH62 and GH63 hammers for Direct Push (DPT) work with 5-foot tooling. The heavy-duty platforms and track-mounted construction allow work in tight areas with limited access. With up to 36,000 lbs of pushing capacity and 48,000 lbs of pulling force these machine make DPT jobs easy.
Both machines have the capability to turn augers to advance larger-diameter holes for well installations. They are equipped with hydraulic winches to lift augers and tooling into place.
Soil Sampling
Macrocore DPT sampling is a cost-effective and proven method to collect soil samples. The continuous soil samples are retrieved in 5-foot long clear plastic liners. This allows our clients to evaluate soil composition and collect soil samples for laboratory analytical analysis. In addition to soil, we can collect grab groundwater samples through the DPT rods via a reusable stainless steel screen. This can significantly reduce costs since it eliminates the need for well construction materials.
Groundwater Monitoring Wells
Groundwater monitoring wells are small-diameter wells used to collect groundwater samples for laboratory analysis. AmeriProbe can install 1-inch diameter temporary monitoring wells and permanent 2-inch diameter monitoring wells. We will finish the permanent monitoring wells with a 2-foot by 2-foot concrete well pad and a lockable stickup or flush mount well cover.
In addition, we can do well abandonments and repair work to wells or well pads.
Soil Gas Sampling
AmeriProbe installs all common types of soil gas sample points:
- Sub-slab, including concrete coring
- Shallow soil gas points using hand augers or DPT
- Deep soil gas sample points/wells using DPT
Soil gas sample points can be completed with a concrete pad and flush mount well cover or per your project specific requirements. AmeriProbe can supply all construction materials, including tubing and sampling screens / implants.
